Notes In addition to sodium lauryl sulfate, one clinical study also found a somewhat elevated canker sore incidence from another common toothpaste detergent, cocoamidopropyl betine (CAPB), when compared to a detergent-free toothpaste. Verve Ultra is also CABP-free.
